Saw Clock This is an extraordinary Clock. It originates from Germany in the early 18th century. It has its unusual name from its looks. Because the gear bar looks like a saw blade it got its original name which is called Saw-Clock. Unlike other Clocks this Saw-Clock is driven or powered by its own weight which moves down the gear bar, its own gravity keeps this Clock going. It also has a lively swinging pendulum called 'Zapplerpendel' swinging in front of the face. Once it reaches the bottom of the gear bar it is simply pushed up the gear bar to the top again. It runs for approximatley 40 hours. Standard with a solid Oak, Walnut, or Mahogony backboard. Dimensions: 55cm High x 11cm Wide. Made in Germany, 2 Year Warranty.
